Relocating to Florida · Custom Homes Statewide
We design and build custom homes across Florida for people who are still somewhere else. You'll walk through your house in 3D long before you arrive, Nathan will come to you for the conversations that matter, and we'll stay on site through construction so you always know how your home is coming along.
What Makes This Different
Building a custom home is a long project even when you can drive past the site on your way home from work. Doing it while you're still living somewhere else adds a layer that catches most people off guard. You're selling a house, closing on land you may have only walked once, choosing finishes you can't touch, and trying to judge whether the people you hired are doing what they said. All of it happens on a schedule that has to line up with a moving truck.
Most of the frustration we hear about comes down to not knowing. You're waiting on a photo from somebody who forgot to send it, or finding out about a decision after it was already made, or realizing in month seven that what's being framed isn't what you pictured. Distance doesn't create those problems, but it does hide them until they're expensive. We built the way we work around closing that gap, so being far away costs you nothing but the flight you don't have to take.
How It Works From Where You Are
Nathan leads your project himself from the first conversation to the final walk-through, and architecture, interior design, and construction coordination all sit under one roof. For a client who lives nearby that means a calmer process. For a client who lives out of state it means something more practical: one person who knows the whole project, who you can reach, and who is physically standing in your house when you can't be. You stay in the decisions that shape how you'll live. We carry the rest.

We meet on our virtual platform and walk through your home together in 3D, room by room, at full scale. You'll see how the light falls in the kitchen in the afternoon and how the hallway feels before a single wall exists. Most of our relocating clients tell us they understood the house better this way than they ever did from flat drawings.
For the meetings that matter most, Nathan travels to your current home rather than asking you to fly down. There's a lot we learn by sitting in the house you live in now: what you love about it, what you've outgrown, which rooms you actually use, and how your furniture lives in a space. That visit tends to shape the design more than any questionnaire could.
We stay on through construction, so somebody who answers to you is on your job site rather than only the builder's team. You'll get site photos, progress updates, and a clear read on what just happened and what's next. Nobody should find out their house went sideways three weeks after it did, and being far away makes that worse, which is exactly why we don't let it happen.
We coordinate with professional movers we've worked with before, and we plan your interiors around what you're bringing with you. The pieces you love get measured and placed in the design, and we'll tell you honestly what's worth shipping and what's worth replacing once you're here. The goal is a house that's ready for your things, not a house you have to adapt to.
Where We Build
Our studio is in Central Florida, and our work runs from the Atlantic beaches down through the Keys-bound south and back up the Gulf. Plenty of people arrive knowing they want Florida without yet knowing which part, and we're happy to talk through what the coasts, the lakes, and the inland communities actually feel like to live in before you commit to a lot.

The Move Itself
Interior design happens in house here, which matters more for a relocation than for almost any other kind of project. Early in the process we go through what you're bringing with you: the dining table that came from your grandmother, the sectional that's still perfect, the art you've been collecting for twenty years. Those pieces get measured and placed in the design, so the rooms are built around them instead of leaving you to make them fit after the fact.
We're also straight with you about what shouldn't make the trip. Some furniture doesn't suit a Florida house, some of it costs more to ship than to replace, and some of it you've been meaning to let go of anyway. Where something needs replacing, we'll source it as part of the design rather than handing you a list and wishing you luck.
The schedule gets the same treatment. Tell us the date you need to be living here, whether it's tied to a school year, a closing, a job, or just the end of a lease, and we'll work backward through construction, permitting, and design to show you whether it holds. If the date isn't realistic you'll hear that in the first conversation, when you can still do something about it.
When it comes time to actually move, we'll connect you with movers we've worked with and trust, and we'll coordinate the delivery window against where construction actually stands rather than where it was supposed to be. Arriving to a finished house with your things already in it is the whole point, and it takes planning that starts long before the boxes do.
The Consultation
The first conversation happens wherever you are, and there's no obligation attached to it. We'll talk about the home you're picturing, where in Florida you're thinking, what your timeline looks like, and what you still have to sort out before you can move.
If you've already found land, we'll look at it with you. If you haven't, we can help you understand what to look for and what to avoid. Either way you'll leave the call with a clearer picture of what this would actually involve, and an honest read on whether we're the right team for it.

What It Feels Like
You pull into the driveway for the first time and the house already feels like it's been waiting for you.
That's what we're really offering. Not just a home you love, but an arrival that feels calm instead of chaotic, after a year of building that you were part of the whole way through, even from far away.
Client Reviews
After a year of wasted time with a different architectural firm, I was directed to Aleskovsky. Since then, the stress and tension of the design process has gone away. When they showed me the first rendering of my future home, I was blown away. I highly recommend the team to anyone.
We never envisioned what could be done, but Nathan believed he could transform this home into our dream home, and he did just that. Everyone who walks into our home is in awe. It has become our dream home.
At our very first meeting, we knew this was the firm who would bring our dream to fruition and design something more than we could ever imagine. They listened, and were professional, personable, and super knowledgeable.
It was a pleasure to work with the team from start to finish. I truly appreciated the professionalism, openness, and transparency throughout the project. The flexibility and non-pressured environment made the experience exceptional.
Common Questions
That's most of what we do for relocating clients, and it's the right order to do it in. Design and documentation take roughly eight to twelve months, and construction usually runs another twelve to eighteen, so starting while you're still settling things where you are now is what makes a smooth arrival possible. We've had clients begin the design before their current home was even listed, and by the time they handed over the keys up north, their Florida house was framed.
Most of them happen on our virtual platform, where we share the model and walk through your house together in 3D while we talk. You can stand in the kitchen, look down the hallway, and get a feel for the proportions in a way that drawings never quite deliver. For the bigger milestones, Nathan flies to you and sits down in your current home, which is usually worth more than several video calls. We'll set the rhythm around your schedule rather than ours.
All of Florida. Our studio is in Central Florida, and we've designed homes from Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach down through Winter Park and Orlando, across to Tampa and St. Petersburg, and south to Sarasota, Naples, West Palm Beach, and Miami. For projects farther from the studio we structure site visits and construction administration so your home gets the same oversight and the same principal involvement, wherever in the state it's being built.
It's actually the best time to talk. Lots are where relocating buyers get caught out, because what looks like a bargain can carry a flood zone, a setback problem, soil that needs an expensive foundation, or a homeowners association with design rules you'd have to live inside. We're glad to look at a property with you before you close, and we'd rather tell you a site doesn't work than design around a problem you paid for.
You'll hear it from us rather than piecing it together. We stay on through construction administration, which means regular site visits, photos, written updates, and somebody reviewing what the builder submits before it becomes permanent. If something needs a decision from you, it comes with context and a recommendation rather than a confusing phone call. Distance makes people anxious about building, and the cure for that is information arriving before you have to ask for it.
We plan around it. Early on we'll go through what you're bringing, measure the pieces that matter, and design rooms that actually fit them rather than leaving you to squeeze a beloved dining table into a space it was never meant for. Where something won't travel well or won't suit the new house, we'll say so and help you choose what replaces it. Interior design is in house here, so your furnishings and your architecture get decided together instead of in sequence.
We build the schedule around it. Tell us when you need to be in, and we'll work backward through construction, permitting, and design to show you whether that date is realistic. If it isn't, you'll hear that in the first conversation rather than nine months in. Holding a date is only possible when the drawings are thorough enough that the builder isn't stopping to ask questions, which is a large part of why we document the way we do.
Every home is different, so we scope our fee to your project rather than quoting a package. What stays consistent is that the design fee is a fixed, predictable figure, it's a fraction of your construction budget, and it's front loaded on purpose. We resolve the expensive questions on paper, where they're inexpensive to solve, rather than in the field where they aren't. We'll walk you through exactly how it works in the consultation.
Book a private consultation with Nathan. We'll talk through where you're headed, when you need to be there, and how we'd approach it from here. No pressure.
